Who we are
My Trip Shortcut (“we,” “us”) is operated by LM Associates, based in Nevada, USA. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit mytripshortcut.com, buy an Access Pass, or use our AI Travel Concierge in ChatGPT, and how we use it.

Information we collect
Information you give us
- Purchase details: your name, email address and billing country when you buy an Access Pass. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy or Payhip). We never see or store your full card number.
- Trip requests: the destination, travel dates, budget, travel style and trip type you ask the AI Travel Concierge to plan, plus your Access Pass Code.
- Messages: anything you send us through our contact form or by email.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, links clicked, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and referring website.
- Access Pass usage: how many trip searches have been run with each Access Pass Code, so we can enforce usage limits.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see the Cookies section below.
How we use your information
- Deliver your Access Pass and verify it each time you plan a trip.
- Generate trip plans and booking links for the destinations you request.
- Respond to support requests and send purchase-related emails.
- Prevent fraud, abuse and sharing of Access Pass Codes beyond our usage limits.
- Understand how our site and service are used so we can improve them.
- Measure the performance of our advertising.
- Comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We send marketing emails only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
The AI Travel Concierge in ChatGPT
Our AI Travel Concierge runs inside ChatGPT, a service provided by OpenAI. Your conversation with it is handled by OpenAI under OpenAI’s privacy policy. We do not receive your full ChatGPT conversation.
When you ask for trip options, the Concierge sends only the details needed for that search to our booking engine: your Access Pass Code, destination, travel dates, budget, travel style and trip type. Our booking engine runs on Make.com, which processes this data on our behalf to check your Access Pass and build booking links.
Please don’t share sensitive personal information (such as passport numbers or payment details) in the chat. The Concierge never needs it, and you never book or pay through it.
Affiliate links and booking partners
Our site and the AI Travel Concierge contain affiliate links to travel partners such as Travelpayouts and its partner brands, Booking.com, Viator and GetYourGuide. If you click one and make a booking, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
When you click an affiliate link, you leave our service. The partner may set cookies to credit the referral to us, and any booking you make is between you and that partner, under their own terms and privacy policy. We receive referral and commission reports from these partners, which do not normally identify you by name.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for these purposes:

Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run My Trip Shortcut, and only as needed for the purposes above:
- Payments and order emails: Lemon Squeezy or Payhip
- Booking engine and Access Pass records: Make.com
- AI chat interface: OpenAI (ChatGPT)
- Website hosting, security and email delivery: our web host and WordPress service providers
- Analytics and advertising: Google and Meta
- Affiliate partners: as described above
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
How long we keep it
We keep purchase and Access Pass records for as long as your pass is active, and afterwards as required for tax and accounting (generally up to 7 years). Support messages are kept for up to 2 years. Analytics data follows the retention settings of those tools.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information, subject to legal record-keeping requirements
- Opt out of marketing emails, and of cookies used for targeted advertising
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
To make a request, email support@mytripshortcut.com. We’ll respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first. We won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights.
California residents: we do not sell personal information. Sharing data with advertising partners through cookies may count as “sharing” under California law; you can opt out through our cookie banner or by emailing us.
Visitors from the EU and UK: we process your data to perform our contract with you (your Access Pass), for our legitimate interests (running and improving the service), and with your consent (non-essential cookies). Your data may be processed in the United States by our service providers. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and notify Access Pass holders by email of significant changes.
